Staying Focused

This week is all about the studies! Today, I had two presentations due. I thought they both went pretty well. The first one was about social class and politics in Jane Austen's Emma and the second was on Margaret Atwood's essay, "The Female Body." I was excited to get good feedback from my tutors (as we call them here)!

Everything else is ALL due next Tuesday. I have an essay for both classes, as well as my final writing portfolio for my creative writing class. I can barely believe that it's already down to crunch time- especially since I'm spending the weekend in London, away from the books :)

That being said, I'm trying to max out the FUN this week, too! We've been having dance practice in the p.m. at Linley House for the past couple of nights, in preparation for Write Night (a talent show). Chelsea and I did the choreographing, and we're doing "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls haha. The performance is next Wednesday night, and we're all getting excited! We're making shirts and everything :)

I went grocery shopping tonight at Sainsbury's Local, again. I like that place, b/c you can buy a week's worth of food for just 10 or so pounds (and I'm trying to tighten my belt). I'm convinced that I'm gonna be returning to America with virtually no money, so if anyone out there needs a babysitter, let me know! Let me also reiterate that a normal person's weekly dosage of food is equivalent to half a week's worth of food for me and my stomach, Lil Bubba. Case in Point: as soon as I got home from Sainsbury's, I just about finished the container of salsa I had just purchased...

I also found myself getting excited about "little pieces of home" today. In my Jane Austen class, we watched the beginning of the movie Clueless, since it is a spinoff of Emma. It was a bit refreshing to see American culture again, as shown in the movie. Also, when I was browsing through a store today, they started playing American folk music and I couldn't help but grin a little bit. Even though I've only been away for about a month, I still find myself touched by bits of familiarity. I'm sad that this will be my first 4th of July without fireworks.

On the bright side, though, I'm sooo stoked for "Wicked" this weekend in London. On Friday, we're also going to Oxford and going "punting." If you don't know what that is, look it up on Wikipedia- it's pretty funny (and even funnier picturing me, trying to do it!) haha. Just gotta push through these next couple of days, though!

Love to You All!!

Kelly :)

Back in Bath :)

Hello Hello!

What a fun weekend! Let me do a re-cap, for y'all.

I spent Friday and Saturday in Wales, gallivanting around the country. On Friday, we hiked up the Black Mountains, and the clouds were seriously on eye-level at one point. The hike was mostly up hill. It was amazing!!! The only bad part was avoiding sheep poop. The view from the top was breathtaking, once we could see holes in the clouds to view the land below us. We also got to pet a horse that may or may not have been a wild stallion. Thank goodness we're getting so much exercise here, b/c most of the food is so rich. Also on Friday, we went to a town in Wales, famous for all of its bookstores. I bought a 100+ year-old copy of Dickens' Hard Times! I've been wanting to read that for a while now, and I'm so excited about the ancient copy. I'm contemplating giving it to Dr. Lorentzen after I finish reading it- he loves Dickens.

After that, we went to a priory and then to our home for one night- St. Briavel's Castle (and when I say castle, I mean castle!) Though the moat was dried up, it would have been there. haha. Also, there was a dungeon with a fake skeleton in it. We stayed in the old prison. It really was a prison at one point! There were even etchings on the walls from hundreds and hundreds of years ago....too bad we couldn't read any of them b/c they were all in Old Welsh. Nonetheless, I'm sure they tell the secrets of threats to the wardens and so forth. The people at the castle made us a delicious dinner Friday night- lasagna, salad, garlic bread, etc. Also, we had strawberries and cream for dessert, in honor of Wimbledon!

On Saturday morning, they also made us a delicious traditional English breakfast (sausages, eggs, stewed tomatoes, beans, croissants, etc.) The only difference between traditional English breakfasts and traditional Irish breakfasts is that Irish ones also contain potatoes and black&white pudding (no- I didn't try it; no blood for me!)

Then, for Saturday afternoon, we went to TINTERN ABBEY!!! That was huge for me, b/c I'd read the poem in my British Victorian Novel class just this past spring. I was so excited- and it really was beautiful. We took a nature walk, too, around the Abbey, and got to see a wedding party. After that, we went to the bridge that marks the mid-point between Wales and England- so cool! I'm pictured below, straddling the line b/t Wales and England- I'm in 2 countries at once!! There was a fair going on in the city with the bridge (Chepstow), but we didn't have time to go. After that, we drove back home to Bath.

On Sunday, I slept in until 2 pm! Please don't judge. That was the first time I've slept in since I've been here, and it felt great! Then, Danielle, Kirby and I got Linner/Dunch at Las Iguanas, a Brazilian restaurant. I got the chimichangas- yum! After that, I went grocery shopping at this teensy little supermarket called Sainsbury's Local. It's about the size of a small convenience store, and it's the only supermarket open past 5 pm on Sundays, so you can imagine the size of the line! I got peanut butter and bread so that I can make sandwiches for lunch every day this week (I'm trying to save money for London).

After that, Kirby (my flatmate) and I went to Mass at St. John the Evangelist. There, I met a really cute old British woman, who couldn't help me find the bathroom for the life of her. Bless her heart. We walked all around the church and even into the backyard trying to find it, and we eventually had to walk back inside and go down the side aisle to get to it, while Mass was starting. She was so embarrassed. By the time we got back, Mass had started. Since she came by herself, I asked her if she wanted to sit with Kirby and me, and she seemed really happy about that. She told me that it was nice to have someone ask her for help with something. That really touched me. God Bless that sweet old lady & you all back home!!

With Love,

Kelly

Off to the Castle, Mates!

Hey everybody,

Tonight (Thursday) was really fun- we did "Curry Night" at J.D. Wetherspoon, where you can get a curry meal and drink for £5.99. Then, we hung out at Lamb and Lion and finished the night doing karaoke at the Metropolitan. Basically, we did a lot of pub-hopping.

When I got back to my flat, my flatmates informed me that both Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett have passed away today (Ed McMahon, as well) - what sad news!! Whether you supported MJ or not in all of the media messes, you can't deny that he was the king of pop. I want to play Billie Jean and do the moonwalk as a dedication.

In happier news, tomorrow, my creative writing class is leaving to take a field trip on the English/Welsh border for a writer's retreat. We're actually staying in a castle while we're there, with a real moat and everything! I'm so excited :) We'll be doing a lot of hiking, eating Wimbledon-esque food, vising Tintern Abbey (Wordsworth, anyone?), and...well..writing.

We're just staying for one night, so I'll be back in Bath on Saturday :)

Hope you're all doing well!! Stay healthy, safe, and smiling.

LOVE,

Kelly :)

Let Me Fill You In...

Sorry for that short break from posting, everyone!
I'll catch you up on the last couple of days:

On Monday I cooked dinner for my housemates by myself. It was really fun! I went grocery shopping at Whitrose, a grocery store in the Podium (a large shopping center/mall/restaurant complex) & I made pinwheel pasta w/ white cheese sauce, baked brie with blackberry currant jam and fresh blackberries on top, crispy potatoes, and salad with balsamic vinegarette dressing. I gotta admit, it turned out pretty good! I also got fresh mangoes for dessert. Some of us also got ice cream (I had amaretto gelato- my new favorite) and hung out at home for the night.

Yesterday (Tuesday) was also a fun day! I was really excited, because, in the afternoon, two girls approached my roommate Monica and me when we were in a cafe and asked us for directions to a store! I felt like such a local. Lukily, I also happened to know where the store was, so the conversation was not in vain haha.

Then, for dinner, my friend and flatmate Danielle and I tried out a new pub: J.D. Wetherspoon. Apparently, it's the cheapest pub in Bath. Danielle and I were really excited, b/c it was very cheap but also delicious! I couldn't believe how high quality the food was, despite the low prices. Danielle got the breaded mushrooms appetizer and I got alfredo pasta (shocker) w/ salad and onion rings (the best I've ever had). Then, we watched the movie Emma with our other flatmates, b/c we're reading that in my Jane Austen class now. We watched the Gwyneth Paltrow version- I thought it was pretty good.

Tonight should be fun, because we're hosting a get together in our flat for people in the program w/ drinks and appetizers.

I hope you're all doing well. I miss you guys so much, but I also really am having the time of my life and I feel so fortunate to have this study abroad opportunity!!

16 days until America gets crazy again :)

Love,

Kelly

Back from Ireland :)

Hey everybody,

I got back to Bath this morning after spending an AWESOME weekend in Ireland with some of my flatmates, as well as some of the other people in the program. We had so much fun. Since it would be really hard to cover everything in one post, I'm just gonna do a quick summary and then share some pics.

My favorite things from this weekend:

-Going back to Dublin
-Seeing St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Book of Kells, the Guinness Castle, etc.
-Going to the Guinness Storehouse, doing a tour, and having a pint on the top of the building, looking out over Dublin
-Going to 2 authentic pubs, mingling w/ the locals, and hearing some amazing local Irish music
-Doing the "P.S. I Love you Tour" and seeing sights from that movie, as well as from Braveheart and Excalibar
-Seeing Glendalough and Wicklow again
-visiting Guinness Lake
-Getting my picture taken with a leprochaun igoon Dublin
-Buying cute new Irish shoes
-Seeing seals and sheep all in one day
-Watching a loose dog chase sheep around a farm
-Eating/drinking pub fare (bangers and mash, beef and guinness stew, Bailey's, potatoes, etc.)
-going to Temple Bar and Baggot Street in Dublin
-being there while a street festival was going on
-meeting our sweet, old Irish B&B owner who called us a taxi for 6:30 am and made sure we were safe

Memorable things from this weekend that aren't quite "favorites":

-Staying one night in a sketchy hostel before moving to a Bed & Breakfast w/ 3 other girls
-dealing w/ inefficient Ryanair workers who didn't tell us that we needed a "visa check" until right before we boarded (even though we arrived 3 hours early), who made us worry about missing our plane and who laughed at us during the stress...ugh.
-the fact that EVERYTHING is waaaay overpriced in Ireland

As you can see...the positives greatly outweighed the negatives....all in all it was a fantastic weekend!
Feels good to be "home" in Bath, though :) But I miss my REAL home and wish I could've been with Dad on Father's Day! Love you Dad!!!

Till tomorrow & with love,

Kelly

Fashion Fusion

I went to a fashion museum in Bath today!! As you can see from these pictures, my flatmates and I had fun trying on period clothing (note the flip flops). The place was really cool- there was even a ballroom and a tea room!

On display in various rooms of the actual museum, you can see designer originals, ranging from Karl Lagerfeld to Versace. They even had the (in)famous Jennifer Lopez dress from the Grammy Awards several years ago (pictured below). They also had really old dresses, one was even worn by Queen Victoria!

It was a really cool experience.

Hope you're all having a great night!!! :)

Love,

Kelly

P.S. this is a pic of me helping Danielle get into her hoop skirt. hahaha

"I'll Take You to the Cleaners"

Today, Tuesday (It's currently 1 a.m, so the blog will annoyingly say it's Wednesday...), I did something new. I went to a British laundromat! If you just so happened to take a gander at my last post, you'll remember that our washing machine went kah-put recently, so we Linley girls had to bite the bullet and brave the streets, dirty laundry in tow. I'm sure we were quite a sight, really, as the 7 of us crossed bridges and streets w/ our mesh bags (or, in my case an Apricot clothing store bag) full of a week's worth of jeans soiled w/ English dirt. But hey, it was fun, and who else can say they've experienced putting British coins into washing machines? There you have it.

My flatmates Kirby and Diane cooked dinner for me tonight, after our laundry expedition- lemon chicken, potatoes, and broccoli. I must admit, I felt pretty spoiled. The lemon chicken was delicious! I suppose I've been getting paninis and pasties from the local Cornish Bakeshop a bit too much lately.

In other news...I printed out my boarding pass for Dublin! The countdown is now down to - 2 DAYS! So exciting. We're already looking into daily excursions, and my flatmate Danielle found one were you can follow the route from the movie P.S. I Love You (I LOVE that movie)!! Sounds like fun to me! We're starting to get really excited about the long weekend in Ireland. I was thirteen years-old the last time Dad, Grandma, and I went there, and I'm ready to go back! It'll be interesting to compare and contrast pre-teen, Judy Blume-reading Ireland-vacationing Kelly to Guiness-drinking, solo-flying, Ireland-vacationing Kelly. I'll be sure to post what I discover. :)

Pip Pip Cheerio and Pleasant Dreams!

Love,

Kelly

Monday

Here's a picture of the ice cream shop I wrote about last time :)

Hi, all. There's nothing too much to report today. It was highly uneventful, compared to this weekend. I went to my classes, got a broccoli, cheese, and sweetcorn pasty from the Cornish Bakeshop for lunch and pasta salad and grapes from Marks & Spencer (the local grocery store) for dinner. For dessert, Diane, Monica and I got some gelato- I got amaretto and it was sooo good.

In other news, our washing machine decided to stop working. Great timing, too, since I'm out of clothes. I'm gonna have to hand-wash stuff in our tub, I suppose. At least the dryer is in business. I don't know how it broke. I haven't even touched it, but, apparently, it fills up with water and doesn't drain it back out. Oh well, worse things have happened - like water marks on the ceiling...I'm sorry Dad :(

Some of us also watched bits and pieces from Pride and Prejudice, the 5-hour movie version with Colin Firth (<3). We all have presentations in class tomorrow about the book. I'm happy that I'd already read it in AP English, so I just had to skim.

We leave for Dublin in 3 days!! I'm so excited. 12 of us are staying in a youth hostel from Thursday night till Sunday morning. We're really gonna try to max out the trip!

That's all I can think of for today's news...but let me do a quick recap of a couple of things I forgot in my last post:

#1 Seagulls are VICIOUS in England. In America, they are annoying and stalk you while you eat on the beach. Here, they actually peck at you! I was holding a pasty on the Cornwall beach, and a seagull swooped down from the sky and starting eating the sandwich right out of my hand! Needless to say, I dropped it and luckily was no worse for the wear (wish I could say the same about my snack), but it was quite a terrifying experience.

#2 They have WEIRD flavors of potato chips over here. Prawn-flavored (shrimp) things are very big. Also, while we made a pit stop on the way to Cornwall at a convenience store, I noticed some other flavors. "Lays" are called "Walkers" here, but they have the same emblem, and they're owned by the same company. Flavors include: prawn cocktail, roast chicken, steak&onion, and cheese&onion...not very appealing if you ask me. I also find Dorito's flavors to be quite humorous over here ("Chili Heatwave," "Tangy Cheese," "Lightly Salted," etc).

I just realized that this post is extremely food-centered. Wonder what that says about the dreams I'm about to have...

Until the next post, Goodnight Everyone!! :)

Love,

Kelly

A Summary of the Cornwall Weekend :)

Wow- what a weekend! We left for Cornwall Friday morning, and spent Friday afternoon hiking around Tintagel- a city with BEAUTIFUL cliffs and trails for hiking. I was especially surprised at the different shades of blue in the water. It sort of reminded me of St. Thomas. On Friday night we reached our destination- Coverack in Cornwall. The deans had told us that we would be staying in a youth hostel, so I'd been bracing myself for sterile white room full of cots. Apparently, I had no idea what a hostel was like, b/c we ended up staying in a beach bungalow right on the sea! These Brits have a different idea of "roughing it" haha. On Friday night, we had a pasty dinner (picture chicken pot pie meets the calzone) and ice cream at the one pub in Cornwall, "the Paris Hotel."

We had an early wake up call on Saturday morning, and we really maxed out the day! We had yet another day of hiking (I told people it felt more like summer camp than studying abroad) around Cornwall. We hiked for miles and miles until we got to cliffs and eventually the beach. The hike was GORGEOUS. We neared the southernmost tip of England. Once we reached the beach in Cornwall, we just hung out and walked about the town. I even found an ice cream restaurant called Kelly's! After that, we had a bbq dinner at a farm. Yet again, the Brits planned something classier than I had originally pictured. "Bbq-ing at the farm" apparently translates into "sitting on a classy patio NEXT to a farm, while being served bbq meat from restaurant workers and then eating free gelato." But hey, works for me! After that, we went back to the Paris Hotel and hung out until we hit the sack.

Sunday (today) has pretty much revolved around riding on the bus. We ended up being a good 5 hours from Bath by the time we got to Cornwall, so it was a little trek back, including a stop for lunch and a couple of pit stops. When we got back to our flat, I made myself some microwavable risotto (gotta love it), went to Mass, were I met a visiting Argentinian priest, hit up The Cork for quiz night, and ended up right here in front of my laptop, writing for your enjoyment!

Well, I've gotta hit the books and the pillow, but I'll post again tomorrow :) Hope this post finds you all well!!

Love,

Kelly :)

Have You Ever Had a Lunn Bun?

I don't have much to report today. We had class as usual and then tried the famous Sally Lunn's restaurant (the first building in Bath), famous for its Sally Lunn's buns. They were quite delicious, I must admit. I'm pictured above w/ my roommate, Monica, by the sign for the restaurant. Then, we went to the canal, which was gorgeous, and to the Huntsman, another pub! We met some other Americans studying architecture, so we hung out w/ them for awhile too. It was comforting hearing some southern Arkansas drawls haha. Tomorrow we're going to Cornwall for the weekend, to see beaches, to go hiking, and to visit the Southern-most point in England! I booked tickets to Dublin today for next weekend, too, so I'm really excited about that!!

Here are some more pics from today :)

I won't be able to post again until Sunday night...but I'll write all about my weekend then!! :)

With lots of love,

Kelly xx

A Recap of Tuesday and Wednesday

Yesterday (Tuesday) night we went to the Thermae Bath Spa. Basically, it was awesome. We did a 2-hour package that included sitting in a warm pool overlooking the entire city of Bath, going in the minerva pool, the hot tub, the foot baths, and a wet sauna. The best part was- it only cost 22 pounds!!! ( ~ $33) Then, believe it or not, we went to KFC. Yes, Kentucky Fried Chicken exists in England. I can now say I've seen it all haha. We only went b/c it was the only place still open. The most hilarious part is that I doubt that any of the people in the restaurant even know where Kentucky is. Also, the only sides they have are chips (fries), corn on the cob, and baked beans. WHAT! Where are the green beans, biscuits, and mashed potatoes?! Clearly, we need to educate the Brits a little better about Southern Culture. ;) That being said, it was a truly humorous meal, followed by an evening of watching Twilight on my flatmate's (Chelsea's) laptop. (She's the one on the right of the locker room picture. The other 3 are, from left to right, Kirby, Diane, and Danielle. Monica is my roommate. I still need to post a picture of her. The other two girls in our flat are Amanda and Sarah)

Today (Wednesday) we went to Stonehenge! Unfortunately, it was raining, but at least not for the whole day. Stonehenge was pretty cool, but I gotta admit- it was smaller than I thought it would be. Still, it is a manmade wonder and I'm happy that I can add it to my list of places I've been. The best part of the trip was hearing Mr. Andrew Butterworth (our own personal, adorable tour guide) talk about history.

I liked Glastonbury even better though! That's where King Arthur was buried (allegedly). We saw his tomb site, the Glastonbury Abbey, got a tour of an ancient kitchen from a monk, and saw the Tor, which was a beautiful lookout on the tallest part of the city.

(I'm at the top in the picture above, with Sarah, one of my flatmates). Needless to say, it was quite a hike getting there! I laughed to myself, b/c today is the first day of camp back home, and, even though I'm not there, I'm still getting in some hiking. Also in Glastonbury, we had the best fish and chips I could have ever imagined existing. Seriously, they melted in your mouth haha. After that, we passed a sign for a restaurant called "American Hamburgers." I think I'll pass ;) haha.

Well, I just woke up from a 5-hour nap (!!!) so now I gotta get to work.

Oh, but before I go- I just want to record that I heard people say "Cheers" and "Cheerio" today. And it was quite satisfying. haha

Love to all,

Kelly :)

Monday Night (6/08) On the Town

Tonight we went to the Victoria Art Gallery for a reception with everyone in the program. It was really fun, and our academic deans served us appetizers which was quite funny. We drank wine and looked at art; this is a pretty classy study abroad program, I gotta say. ALSO- I ran into Professor Singh in Bath (my poli sci prof from Mary Wash)!!! He's visiting and representing the university in the program. I loved seeing a familiar face here!

Then, we went to the Pig and Fiddle pub afterward and I had yet another Strongbow haha. We talked to a lot of British people about the country, sports, everything. It was fun mingling with the people of the town :) We are planning events to throw in our houses, like margarita/quesadilla night, etc.

More fun to come!

Video Tour

Hey Guys,

Sorry for not posting last night. I was trying to upload a video tour of my apartment, but it didn't load. However, you CAN see it if you're friends with me on facebook-just go to my profile and it should be there. :)

Yesterday (Sunday) was really great. I went to Mass with another girl from my flat, Kirby. We went to St. John the Evangelist and it was literally right around the corner! It was almost identical to Mass in America, except for a few differences (for example, in the Nicene Creed they say "in accordance with the scriptures" instead of "in fulfillment of the scriptures"). I was really comforted seeing how alike it was to to American Mass, though, because it really demonstrated unity in the church to me.

On Sunday we also had a complete day of orientation. We took a shopping tour, for example, and had tea and biscuits (cookies). During the shopping tour, Andy (one of our academic deans), showed us the Spa, where you can sit in huge steaming pools underneath the stars, get hot stone therapy, facials, etc for fairly cheap prices (even AFTER doing the American conversions to dollars). I also went grocery shopping with Kirby and Diane, two girls from my house. We ended up cooking our first meal here last night- fresh raviolis, salad with balsamic vinegar, and garlic bread. The food here is fresh; it doesn't have as many preservatives in it as our American food does, so you have to eat it when you buy it. I've learned that the British shop lightly and often.

We went to another pub last night after Mass (that's normal around here haha) called "The Cork." They were having "quiz night" which is the same as our "trivia night" back home. I bet you would like it, Dad :) Well, long story short, we lost b/c they asked a few questions about British television and such, but it was still really fun. We got really excited when we got the question, "What country is New Mexico in?" haha. Our team name was "Damn Yankees" - but don't worry, I'm only a yankee in country, not baseball. Speaking of which, one of our deans here is a Red Sox fan!!! We totally bonded over that, too. :) I tried another cider at The Cork- Strongbow (apparently it's the most popular one). It was pretty good.

I have to go get ready for my first day of classes (!!!) but I'll write again tonight!

Till then and with love,

Kelly

Pictures of My Room :)

When you first walk in...my roomate's bed...note the ceiling trim. This picture really doesn't even do it justice. The room is mint green and the ceiling is white w/ tons of embellishments.

Here is my half of the room...the bed is pretty nice, but it got cropped out. I have fancy curtains that open out right to the street. I love our flat b/c we're right in the CENTER of town- it's perfect...tons of shopping, cafes, and attractions. Right now as I type this I hear music coming from the street...someone else likes Queen :)

This is my "shoe shelf" hahaha. Isn't it beautiful? Obviously, I'm leaving room so I can buy new shoes.

I'm Here!!

Oh man, so much to write about. Where to begin? I will just list the highlights of my day:

Things MLR people will enjoy:

-the buses honk twice before backing out of a parking spot

Other things I have enjoyed:

-having a "drop of tea" on the plane, as well as red wine with my meal
-listening to Halo twice on the flight
-forgetting that they're SUPPOSED to drive on the left side and having a minor freak-out
-meeting a guy at a pharmacy whose surname is also Key
-going to my first British pub- "Lamb and Lion" and drinking a pint of BlackThorn Dry Cider...turns out a pint is plenty
-learning that I'm not in Bath I'm in Bahhhth (Bawwwth?...you get the idea)
-grocery shopping
-the fact that you can walk EVERYWHERE here
-meeting one girl my age and coincidentally sitting right across the aisle from her on my flight
-getting complimentary brown eggs in the refrigerator and chocolates galore
-living in a house from the 1700s w/ beautiful embellished trims on the ceilings, sculptures, beautiful shelves, etc.

My First British Conversations:

Guy Working at Heathrow Airport at the UK Border: Have you ever been to England before?
Me: No
Guy: I figured. You're so....happy.

Guy #2 Who DOESN'T Work in the Airport to Me: Excuse me but you look a bit lost

More to come!

Love, Kelly

Packing

Well, here goes...my first post! I'm getting really excited about the trip. 3 days! Wow. I have so much to do before Friday. Over the past week, I've mostly been tearing my room apart. It has been messy for so long, and I just want it to be clean already! Needless to say, I've already filled 4 trash bags and I'm still going and going...

I'm not nervous about being in England by myself, but I'm nervous about flying by myself. I've flown a lot but never alone. I can just see myself stumbling around Heathrow Airport in London, trying to figure out how to catch a coach and counting how many euros I have on me. Whew. Should be an adventure!

In other news, Papa Key has limited me to one suitcase. ONE! How will I manage? Luckily, I'm also taking a huge pocketbook and a laptop case haha. I told him that I need to use his suitcase, because it's bigger than mine. This one-suitcase plan could work out in my favor, though. After all, it supports the concept of buying things in London :) British fashion here I come!

Cheerio for now!

Love, Kelly
